What Happens if IGNOU Admissions are Cancelled?
In the current session IGNOU is following its fee return and admission cancellation policy. MA Psychology applicants may decide on cancelling their IGNOU admission process. Students are given the option to get a refund of the MA Psychology fee if they have made a deposit.
If a student cancels admission before the application is given the final confirmation for the MA Psychology course, IGNOU gives a 100% refund. This is applicable to all category students. But, if the cancellation request is made to the IGNOU authorities after confirmation of the admission, this amount changes.
IGNOU fines 15% of the MA Psychology programme fee up to a limit of Rs. 2000/- when the cancellation request is made after the final confirmation. This should also be before completing 60 days after the final confirmation. If students apply for admission cancellation after 60 days have passed from the last date of MA Psychology admission, IGNOU will not refund any amount to students.
