IGNOU provides two modes of assignment submission, online and offline. For the online mode, the link for the assignment submission portal will be published on the official IGNOU website. Offline submission can be made by visiting the offline IGNOU learning centers. The last date for assignment submission for both modes remains the same.
Step 1: Go to the official website of your assigned IGNOU regional center.
Step 2: Open the “Notification” section of the website. Some regional centers have this section by the name of “News and Events”.
Step 3: Find the assignment guidelines on the page. This will show you the rules you have to follow for assignment submission. The link for the online google form for IGNOU assignment submission will also be available on the notification.
Step 4: Start filling the form for assignment submission. Fill in all the details asked. Carefully name your file in the format as specified in the guidelines.

Step 1: Complete your assignment neatly on A4 size papers.
Step 2: Make a binding copy of your assignment. Make sure to also include the essential information like your name, enrollment number, subject code, etc.

IGNOU Assignment Last Date Extension
During the IGNOU semester often students are not able to submit the assignment on time. This creates a problem for them as IGNOU assignments are necessary for various services. These include, final 30% marks, exam hall tickets, exam form eligibility, etc. To help such students, IGNOU extends the date for assignment submission. This decision rests entirely up to IGNOU management and should not be taken as a policy. But, over the past years IGNOU has many times extended its assignment submission dates.
