IGNOU BLIS Eligibility Criteria
Admission for the 2025 academic year needs a Bachelor’s degree with 50% marks for general candidates. The minimum marks for reserved categories have been lowered to 45%.
Students with a Bachelor degree with a 1 year diploma course in Library science can apply for this IGNOU UG program. Additionally, candidates with 2-year working experience in a library can apply with their bachelor degree.

IGNOU also needs an application fee of Rs. 300/-. This fee has to be submitted while submitting the IGNOU application form.
IGNOU BLIS Application Process
Step 1: Open the IGNOU admission portal. ODL courses have a separate IGNOU has been provided.
Step 2: Create a new account by clicking “New Registration”.
Step 3: New login ID is sent to the inbox of submitted email.
Step 4: To go to the admission form by going to IGNOU Admission portal 2025-26.
Step 5: Enter the personal information and start filling in the application form.
Step 6: Select BLIS in the subject column.
Step 7: Upload the scanned copy of documents. IGNOU verifies these documents and the data entered.
Step 8: Pay application fee for IGNOU BLIS admission 2025-26.
Step 9: Submit the filled application form. Print a copy of the acknowledgement form.
