IGNOU Fee Structure 2025-26: Session 2025 is starting in January 2025. The coming months will see students in a hurry to submit their re-registration and admission forms. IGNOU accepts fee submission online for its UG, PG, Diploma, and certificate courses. Average fee for IGNOU courses ranges from Rs. 2,000 per semester to Rs. 18,000 per semester. These fee ranges are published online on the official website of @ignou.ac.in. Read further to know full details.
IGNOU Fee Structure 2025-26
New IGNOU session will start in January 2025. Students interested in IGNOU distance courses will need to submit their course fee at the end of the IGNOU admission process. Fee structure at IGNOU includes the subject fee, to be paid at the start of every semester. Students can also choose to pay the fee for the entire course. IGNOU allows multiple fee payment options, including online and offline ways like UPI payment, debit card payment, and demand drafts.
Students can find the fee structure listed on the IGNOU website. IGNOU doesn’t change its fee structure in between the course duration. Students can be certain that their payment will be received by the university with the help of the IGNOU fee receipt. Students can complete the fee payment process till 31st March 2025.

To check the fee structure on the IGNOU official website follow the following steps:
Step 1: Visit the official website of IGNOU.
Step 2: On the homepage, find the menu named “Student Corner”. Click on it.
Step 3: Link for the online distance learning (ODL) programs is given. This link will take the student to the list of all the programmes offered by IGNOU.
Step 4: Click on “Know More” below the name of the desired course among the list of all the programs displayed.
Step 5: Check the fee on the screen.
IGNOU Fee Structure on the Regional Center Website
IGNOU regional center also displays the fee structure for the IGNOU courses. Students can follow the below step to get to the fee structure for IGNOU courses –
Step 1: Go to the website of IGNOU regional center.
Step 2: On the official website go to the “Student Corner”.
Step 3: IGNOU common prospectus will be listed on the student corner webpage.
Step 4: Open the IGNOU prospectus by clicking on it.

Refund Policy in IGNOU Fee Structure
Admissions for January 2025 session to various IGNOU programs has started. Students can pay the program fee and choose their desired course. If however, a learner decides to cancel their admission, IGNOU allows a learner to back out from the program.
IGNOU fee structure has provisions of fee refunds. If IGNOU applicants cancel their admission request before the confirmation of admission, a full refund of fee is made. This fee contains only the admission fee paid, there will be no refund of the IGNOU application fee. Students can apply for admission cancellation via IGNOU student Login or Email.
Candidates will get a deducted fee of 15% if they apply for refund after the confirmation of admission. However, if the cancellation request is made after 60 days of the end of registration, no refund will be made.
