IGNOU MBA Admission 2025-26: Admissions has begun again at IGNOU in January 2025. Students can apply for fresh MBA admission at the start of the new session. Master of Business Administration is a 2-year management program. IGNOU admission process will open in January 2025. There is no specific subject needed for admission. Students can apply with their commerce or arts bachelor’s degree. IGNOU MBA admission 2025-26 also accepts science UG degrees. IGNOU MBA admission last date for the session 2025-26 is 15 February 2025.

IGNOU MBA Admission Eligibility Criteria

IGNOU admissions is open to all. There is no age requirement set by IGNOU. Students from every subject background can apply for this distance programme. A bachelor’s degree is needed by students to apply. IGNOU MBA eligibility criteria need 50% marks for admission. Minimum mark criteria is 5% less for reserved category students. Students from SC/ST/OBC category need 45% marks for the admission process.

IGNOU MBA courses provide various student services. This makes it a popular choice among working professionals. Thus, IGNOU has not put any age restriction on January 2025 MBA admissions.

IGNOU MBA Application Process

Admission to IGNOU courses will start in January. To successfully complete the IGNOU MBA application process follow the given steps:

Step 1: Go to the IGNOU admission portal. @ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in.

Step 2: Register and make a new account for the IGNOU MBA application process.

Step 3: Log in with the newly created username and password.

Step 4: Start filling the admission form. Enter the name and other details

Step 5: Select the desired MBA specialization.

Step 6: Documents asked by IGNOU should be uploaded on the portal.

Step 7: Pay the application fee. This is a non refundable fee.

Step 8: Submit the application form. 

Step 9: Print the acknowledgement page.

IGNOU MBA Fee Structure 2025-26

Admissions in January 2025 will open for IGNOU MBA. Applications are accepted online. Students after completing the application process need to pay Rs.300 as the application fee. This is followed by the University Development Fee. Rs.200/- is collected at the time of IGNOU MBA admission 2025-26.

The course fee for IGNOU MBA is released on the official website. IGNOU MBA course fee is Rs.15,500 per semester. The total fee is Rs.64,000/-. Students can pay this amount per semester. Fee for the 3rd semester is Rs.17,500 per semester.

IGNOU MBA Admission 2025-26 Student Service

IGNOU 2025 admissions will open the gates for students to use many services offered by IGNOU. Being the world’s biggest open university, IGNOU has many resources to handle student’s requirements. It provides MBA course materials in printed and online form. It also provides additional recorded lectures to cover specific topics. 

While studying students come up with many doubts and questions. To address this problem, IGNOU provides MBA contact classes. These classes start after the last date of the IGNOU MBA admission process.

IGNOU MBA Contact Classes

IGNOU contact classes are an essential part of IGNOU distance learning. These classes let students interact with IGNOU teachers. Such interactions clear student’s doubts regarding MBA course. This deepens their understanding and also lets students interact with each other.

These classes are organized in IGNOU’s study centers. Contact classes start after the IGNOU MBA admission process ends. IGNOU releases the schedule for each semester on its official website @ignou.ac.in.

IGNOU MBA Course Material

To help students in their MBA journey, IGNOU provides the syllabus in multiple formats. Students get the option to download the course material as soft copies (PDFs and DOC files). This works for students that are constantly travelling or working. They can access the study material on their electronic devices like mobile phones and laptops. 

Similarly for students who prefer printed books, IGNOU has the option of printed course material. Students need to submit an extra fee for printed study materials. They can submit this fee during the IGNOU MBA admission 2025-26 process. This fee is not refundable.

Business Ethics and CSR

IGNOU MBA Syllabus is filled with theoretical subjects in topics like Business Economics, Finance, Operations, etc. These topics are covered in detail in this syllabus. Students get constant guidance with the help of IGNOU contact classes. These classes help student develop confidence in there ability and knowledge.

Along with the theoretical subjects on business skills, IGNOU also provide subject on Business Law. These subjects along with Business Ethics makes students understand the correct directives of business. They learn what practices must not be used while doing business. At the end of IGNOU MBA course, students must submit a project work to ensure they successfully complete this management degree.

IGNOU MBA Assignments

Additionally to the MBA syllabus, IGNOU also gives assignment to its students. These assignments contain subjective and objective questions related to MBA syllabus. Each subjects of IGNOU MBA syllabus has different assignments. These assignments should be completed and submitted before a set deadline. For the 2025-26 session, the last date for submission of IGNOU MBA assignments is March 31st, 2025.

Marking of IGNOU MBA assignments is also important for the final grade card of a student. IGNOU gives 30% weightage to MBA assignment in the final grade card. These assignments are graded by IGNOU in-house teachers with the help of subject matter experts. Students are also required to submit these assignments for the release of exam hall ticket for the term end examination of IGNOU. Only those students who have submitted the required number of assignments are eligible for the IGNOU MBA term end examination (TEEs).

Similarly to submit the IGNOU MBA Assignments students can use the official website of the IGNOU regional center. However, to submit the IGNOU assignment students can use the offline as well as online modes.

How to Download IGNOU MBA Assignments

Step 1: Go to the official website of IGNOU. @ignou.ac.in

Step 2: On the web home page of the official IGNOU website click on the student service icon.

Step 3: In the now opened section click on the “Download” section.

Step 4: Links will appear for assignments and old question papers. Click on the “Current Assignments”.

Step 5: Assignment portal will open. Listing the Masters and Bachelor’s assignments by their subject code.

Step 6: Click on the required subject code and download the assignment for this semester.

How to Submit MBA Assignment Offline

Step 1: Complete the IGNOU MBA Assignment.

Step 2: Make a front page for the assignments listing all the details.

Step 3: Bind the A4 pages and the front page together. (students can use spiral binding too)

Step 4: Go to the assigned IGNOU regional center.

Step 5: Meet the student service officer.

Step 6: Submit the assignment.

Note: There is no fee for submission of assignments for IGNOU MBA.
