IGNOU PGDCA Admission 2025-26: Admission to PGDCA has started at IGNOU for January 2025. This diploma course is offered as a distance education course at IGNOU. Students with a bachelor degree with mathematics courses can apply for IGNOU PGDCA. IGNOU PGDCA Admission 2025-26
PGDCA IGNOU admission starts for the new session. This is a diploma level course offered in distance education mode. IGNOU accepts online admission through its admission portal. Students who have problems accessing the internet can seek help from IGNOU study centers too.
Admission process for IGNOU PGDCA has started with the new session 2025. This course costs Rs. 10,800 per semester. Students can pay this course fee online. This course is a practical based course with multiple practical subjects. IGNOU provides contact classes to cover such subjects. Students can apply for IGNOU PGDCA admission 2025-26 after meeting the eligibility criteria.
Eligibility for PGDCA from IGNOU
IGNOU accepts admissions from bachelor’s degree holders. There is no age limit for any group to apply to IGNOU PGDCA. Students with mathematical courses in their bachelor degree or 10+2 can apply.
However, students who have not studied mathematical courses can apply after completing a bridge course in mathematics. IGNOU accepts BSC-012 as the bridge course.
IGNOU PGDCA Fee 2025-26
Total course fee for IGNOU PGDCA is Rs. 21,600/-. IGNOU accepts the course fee as a per semester fee. Students have to pay Rs. 10,800/- per semester. During the first semester students will have to pay an extra Rs. 1,400/-. In addition to these amounts, IGNOU PGDCA application fee is Rs. 300/-. This fee is payable at the time of submission of the application form.
IGNOU PGDCA Application Process
Step 1: IGNOU has a separate distance admission portal. Go to IGNOU admission portal.
Step 2: On the upper left of the screen click on “New Registration”.
Step 3: Fill the new registration form. New username and password for admission portal login will be provided.
Step 4: Log and open the IGNOU Admission portal 2025-26.
Step 5: Start filling the IGNOU PGDCA application form. This form will ask for personal information of students. Name, email, address, etc. Also fill the education details.
Step 6: Select the subject as PGDCA.
Step 7: Upload documents for IGNOU PGDCA admission 2025-26.
Step 8: Pay PGDCA application fee of Rs. 300 to complete the IGNOU application process. Use online payment methods such as debit card, UPI, and credit card.
Step 9: Submit the IGNOU PGDCA application and print the acknowledgement form. This form will be helpful in the future for communicating with IGNOU.

Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Application (PGDCA) is a 1-year distance learning diploma program. This course contains PGDCA study material and syllabus, with assignments, and IGNOU term end examinations (TEE).
IGNOU PGDCA new syllabus has 12 total subjects. These subjects offer a sound background in computer applications. Training is given in web and software development. IGNOU also keeps students in practice with the help of PGDCA assignments. These assignments plays an important role in TEE and final marks.

IGNOU PGDCA Assignments
IGNOU Assignments are an opportunity for students to keep their course preparation in check. Providing practical assignments with real world problems, these assignments are prepared by IGNOU in-house teachers. They will be distributed after IGNOU PGDCA admission 2025-26 last date. IGNOU PGDCA Term End Examination
At the end of the 6-month semester, IGNOU organizes term end examinations (TEE). These are conducted in test centers across the country. Students who have submitted their assignments before the deadlines are eligible to appear in PGDCA TEE.
Eligible students must fill the IGNOU exam form online. They can visit the IGNOU exam portal @exam.ignou.ac.in. The result will be displayed on the result portal, 1 month after TEE.
