IGNOU DNHE Admission 2025-26: Students can apply to DNHE for the next session in January 2025. Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) is accepting admission for distance courses. Students with a 12th qualification can apply for IGNOU DNHE admission 2025-26. Online application for DNHE is accepted at this university. IGNOU DNHE course fee is Rs. 3,000/-. Students can study this nutrition based course after paying the fees online. IGNOU helps its students with its student services. Students can use IGNOU contact classes and study material. IGNOU DNHE admission last date is – 31st January 2025.

IGNOU DNHE Admission 2025-26

Admission has started for the IGNOU DNHE program soon. Students with a 12th level qualification can apply for this 1-year diploma course. The application process will be conducted online on the IGNOU admission portal for ODL courses. Students will have to pay an application fee of Rs. 300/-. This fee will serve as the processing fee for the online application.

This course has a fee of 3,000/-. Students can pay this amount online through the student portal or on the admission portal. The last date for IGNOU DNHE admission 2025-26 is 31st January 2025. Admissions will start soon for eligible students.

Eligibility for IGNOU DHNE

Students must qualify their 12th exam for DNHE admission. State and national school boards like Kerala School Board, Tamil Nadu School Board, NIOS, CBSE, Bihar School Board, etc. This 1-year diploma course accepts 12th equivalent degrees and diplomas too.

Admissions are open for Indian and International students. There is no age limit for admission. IGNOU accepts students from every part of the country. 

IGNOU DNHE Fee & Expenses

IGNOU DNHE course fee is Rs. 3,000. Students can pay this amount during the IGNOU DNHE admission 2025-26 process. Additionally, IGNOU also asks for an application fee of Rs. 300. The application fee amount is non-refundable.

How to Apply for IGNOU DNHE

Step 1: For DNHE admission students have to visit the IGNOU admission portal. ODL courses have a separate web portal.

Step 2: By clicking on “New Registration” a new account should be created.

Step 3: Use the new account to log in to IGNOU DNHE Admission portal 2025-26.

Step 4: Fill the application form. This form contains segments asking for information like name, address, age etc. 

Step 5: Select DNHE when prompted. This is a mandatory step.

Step 6: Scan and upload identification documents like aadhar card and photographs. And also submit the educational degrees.

Step 7: Pay the IGNOU DNHE application fee. An amount of Rs. 300 has to be paid through UPI, credit card, or debit card.

Step 8: Submit the application form. 

Step 9: Print the acknowledgement page for further use.

Diploma in Nutrition and Health Education is a 1-year diploma course. IGNOU offers this course as a distance education program. This program offers 4 subjects which in total carry 32 credits. Students study the collective impact of nutrition on a community with subjects like Public Health and Nutrition for the Community. IGNOU teaches the value of communication and health awareness through Health Education. Along with these, students must also submit a Project work and report to IGNOU for the completion of the course.

To complete this syllabus on time, IGNOU provides online recorded classes, e-learning materials like PDFs, and contact classes using IGNOU study centers.

IGNOU DNHE Assignments

For continuous practice and assessment IGNOU DNHE course contains assignments. These assignments are given to students online after IGNOU DNHE admission 2025-26. They are uploaded on the official website @ignou.ac.in

Students have to complete these IGNOU assignments and submit them before the deadline. They carry 30% marks in the final mark sheet. Also, without submitting IGNOU assignments students are not allowed to sit their final term end examination (TEE).

IGNOU Project Work

Project work has to be completed for the successful completion of the IGNOU DNHE program. This project work will provide students with an experience of working with community members for health and nutrition education. Through this students will get a feel of real life nutritionists, it will give them the understanding of the work and responsibilities of a health educator.
