IGNOU BCom Admission 2025-26: Admission to IGNOU BCom has already started from 12 December 2024 for the January 2025 session. Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) offers BCom as a distance course. Eligibility criteria for BCom is 12th pass or equivalent qualification. IGNOU conducts BCom admissions online. Course fee for this distance program is Rs. 4,500/- per year. This amount can be paid online. IGNOU BCom Admission 2025-26
Bachelor of Commerce is a 3-year distance education program at IGNOU. This is an undergraduate degree. It focuses on commerce organization and theory. Students also get a chance to graduate with honours in BCom at IGNOU. Students who opt for BCom honours need 4-year to graduate.
Yearly fee for IGNOU BCom is Rs.4,500. Students can exit early with a BCom certificate or diploma from this course. IGNOU BCom admission is conducted online. Eligible students can apply on the IGNOU admission portal. IGNOU BCom admission last date for session 2025-26 is 15 February 2025.
IGNOU BCom Admission Eligibility Criteria
Applications are accepted from 10+2 qualified students. Both the 3-year and honours course accept 12th pass candidates. Students must pass their 12th from a recognized board like NIOS, CBSE, Kerala Board etc. There is no application age limit. IGNOU BCom admission has no maximum age limit.
IGNOU Multiple Entry/Exit Option
IGNOU follows New education policy (NEP). According to NEP, students can exit the course early with either a BCom UG Certificate or UG Diploma. It brings great flexibility in the IGNOU BCom course. Extending this course for 4-years can turn this degree into an honours degree.
After completing 1 year of IGNOU BCom, a UG Certificate can be given. If students decide to leave the BCom course, they can get the BCom certificate. Similarly, after 2 years, a BCom UG diploma can be obtained. Following this, students can freely plan their career and education.

IGNOU BCom Admission Fees
IGNOU accepts BCom fee online. With an yearly fee of Rs.4,500/-, IGNOU has kept its BCom course accessible to all. The total course fee for IGNOU BCom is Rs.13,500/-. For BCom Honours, students have to pay Rs.18,000/- in total.
IGNOU BCom admission 2025-26 application fee is Rs. 300. This fee is payable at the end of the application process. Students also have to submit a University Development Fee when they are selected for IGNOU admission.

IGNOU BCom Admission Application Process
Step 1: Open the IGNOU admission portal. IGNOU offers a different portal for distance education admission.
Step 2: Create a new account for admission by clicking “New Registration”.
Step 3: Login ID for a new account is sent to the submitted email.
Step 4: Log in with the given username. Go to the IGNOU Admission portal 2025-26.
Step 5: Start filling in the IGNOU application form.
Step 6: Fill in BCom as the admission subject.
Step 7: Scan and upload documents. IGNOU verifies the data entered with these documents.
Step 8: Pay application fee of Rs.300. This fee can be paid online using UPI, credit card, and debit card.
Step 9: Submit the application form. Make sure to keep a copy of the acknowledgement form.

IGNOU Fee Refund Policy
IGNOU has a policy to refund the fee if the admission is cancelled. For a full refund students can cancel their admission till the final selection for IGNOU admission 2025. Students can cancel their admission even after the payment of the admission fee. In that case a full refund of the paid admission fee is done.
However, if the cancellation is done after the final selection refund will be made after a deduction of 15% of the deposited fee with the deduction of not more than Rs. 2,000/-. No refund will be made after 60 days of the closing of IGNOU BCom admission 2025-26.

IGNOU BCom Admission Course Structure 2025-26
IGNOU Bachelor of Commerce is a 3-year distance graduate program. During this distance program students get commerce syllabus and assignments for practice. IGNOU BCom is divided into 6 semesters.
